We received a wonderful email in January 2011 from a very happy couple:
Dear Duncan and Bev,
I am writing to you with some very good news! S had his vasectomy reversal on the 13th Sept 2010, 8 years after his original vasectomy. Although both sides were reattached, there was some difficulty with one side due to a previous operation. The week before christmas we received our sperm analysis results, which were a very low 1million p/ml with only 4% of those swimming, so although we were very pleased it had worked and there was sperm present, we thought we were in it for the long haul.
Just over 2weeks later, I found out I was pregnant! Amazing! We are still in shock and couldnt be happier! So from VR to conception was only 16 weeks, with only 4%!! A miracle!
Thank you so much Duncan and to your team and I hope this brings hope and encouragement to many others. It has been a wonderful experience form start to finish and I would truly recommend Dr. Harriss and the Park Hospital to anybody thinking of having this procedure done, good luck to you all!!
Thank you so so much :-) xx
May 2011 and we received a wonderful update:
Hi Bev,
I hope that you and Dr. Harriss are both well, I always look on the site and your facebook group for recent news and it's great to see all the success! :-)
I sent you a testimonial back in Jan, (I've copied and pasted it as a refresh)
Anyway, I just wanted to update and let you know that everything is fine and that we are expecting a girl and couldnt be more happier. Please find attached pictures from our 12 week and 20 week scan for your 'watching a baby grow' page. I booked a 4D scan today and will happily forward you those pictures when I get them on the 29th June!
Thank you so much again! I still can' belive it's happening for us, a true miracle and we can't wait!! Keep up the very good work!!
All the best, Us and Baby Girl Bump :-) xx (continued below the picture..)
Received this June
As promised here are my photos from my 4D scan at 28weeks. XX had his VR in Sept '10 and although he only had 1million sperm p/ml with only 4% swimming we were able to conceive wiithin 3 months and are due this September!! :-)
Here are the photos of my little chubba! :-)
It was amazing, she was sucking her thumb, yawning, smiling, even did a little cough (although not when they were taking the photos!). She has a big round tummy and little chubby cheeks, gorgeous lips and a really cute button nose! I could have just eaten her!! So precious!
Thanks again for everything and the next picture you get will be of her after she is born! :-)
She's finally here!
She made her safe arrival on 20th September weighing 6lbs 14.5 ozs. We are absolutely thrilled to bits with her and of course would love to say a huge thank you once again to Mr Harriss and the team.
